You will have seen that we have been able to provide online learning for pupils in Y1-6 from day 1.
You have received information by email, text or phone call about what will be provided after the first couple of days. We have contacted you to arrange collection or delivery of a Chromebook and additional resources, where these are needed.
If your child is in EYFS, packs of work have been provided to all children and SWAYS added to our website, including links to Read Write Inc phonics sessions and voiced over models of your child’s teacher delivering phonics.
EYFS pupils will soon be allocated office 365 e mail accounts so that they can take part in phonics lessons delivered live by their own teachers, via Microsoft Teams.
We teach the same curriculum remotely as we do in school wherever possible and appropriate. However, we have needed to make the following adaptations:
Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 = 3 hours
Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 = 3-4 hours
We use Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams to support online learning.
Your child has their own Office 365 account for emails (Y1-6) and these are to follow shortly for EYFS. Your child has been shown how to use a Chromebook and how to access Teams.
You will have received information to help you support your child with this. For pre-recorded work, we use Microsoft Sway and you will receive links to these in the information from school.

For year 1 -6
For Nursery and Reception:
If your child is not in school because they are self-isolating, we will follow the same approach as above. We will contact you to discuss our child’s learning at least once a week.
Thank you for your support at this challenging time. We are immensely proud of the response of our school community to these unique circumstances.
